Post Nova Driveshaft Length

I have a chance to buy a nice chromoly driveshaft with the ends I need for my project for a great price. Problem is I have the front subframe removed and can't readily determine what length I'm going to need. I have a '68 Nova, going to use a TH400 and 9" rear located very near the stock location. Anyone out there have a setup similar who can give me a center to center shaft length that will work with the 6" and 9" tail TH400? The shaft I'm considering is 45" center to center and my calculations are in that ballpark but not accurate enough to run out and buy it.

Thanks, Larry

I don't mean to get off the subject but a th400 doesn't come with 6" or 9" tailhousings. They come in 4" and 9 3/4". Just so your measurements don't get thrown off.
Hopefully someone will have the exact same set up or else you are taking a huge risk buying this driveshaft.

My mistake Jason, the tail is 4". I had so many measurements on the table I must have went brain dead. Thanks for bringing it to my attention!
