Nova drum brake pull (left and right)

I recently picked up a '73 Nova eqquipped with four wheel power drum brakes. When applying the brakes the car pulls left or right randomly. I'm gonna start by bleeding the brakes, checking for proper assembly (primary and secondary shoes in proper location, etc.) and properly adjusting them. Is there any other things I can look at for this problem? This is my first Nova (I've had many) with power brakes. Thanks.

Make sure the brake lines are good also and not closing off when pushing the brakes, A bad line will get soft and shut off when applying the brakes causing it to pull from one side or the other, I am talking about the rubber lines on the front . Hope this helps. Cole
