Question

Yeah, thats what I tried but there was no way I could get those things in there, but thanks for the help, I appreciate it... so I got different headers, and I made the dimple and I thaught they were gonna fit but then they hit down on the frame... so Im not shure if the will work either.. so if anyone else has any suggestions, please let me know, thanks...

Try having them built at an exhaust builder, that way they have to fit.

What brand headers?? Hooker is probably the best for fit.I've got dynomax and they fit nice.Wasn't fond of headman their collectors were angled up.
Were you jacking the motor out of the mounts when you installed these headers???Had to ask.

Dynomax #85121(still got the box keep my old headers in it) Their for 78-87 monte carlo, regal, cutlass,Grandprix etc...Don't think they'll fit nova chassis.

Next time you buy check the footnotes on the header site. Some headers for the same chassis won't fit certain things like power steering, stick tranny etc...
