I answered this in your other Post also.
Yes, if the 9" has the correct Spring mounting Pads it will work.
You could remove them from the 10-Bolt Tubes & mount them on the 9" Tubes if the Axle Tubes are the same Dia./size. If not you may be able to grind the Pad's radius larger or you can buy new Mounting Pad fairly cheap.
The 8.5" 10-Bolt Rear is a strong Rear, only difference between it & the 8.875" 12-Bolt is the Ring gear size.
