Nova Subframe Swap into 47 Chevy Car???

I have a 47 chevy 2 door sedan. I also have a 70 Nova front subframe. I know these units can be swapped into a 47 Chevy car but can't find a detailed instruction on how to do it. Setting up the wheel base dimension would be no problem but getting the caster right is my question. If I don't get the angle right the car won't track. I live in south western Pennsylvania and can't find anyone in my area who does this kind of work that's reputable.

after doing a bunch of these and F%#king around fitting sheetmetal (the frame is the easy part), sell the sub, buy a MII....
just my advice....

btw, IMO, the sub will drive better but it'll come with a WHOLE lot more work and by the time you rebuild the front end on the sub, it's not much more money and about a wash if the sub doesn't have disc brakes and you have to buy a "kit"..
plus the sub is a bit too wide for my tastes...

I used a 76 Nova sub on my 51 Ford F1....It worked great, has been on there almost 20 years now.....I had no alignment problems, maybe I was just lucky.

I would however look at a later model sub though...Yours is rear steer and does it have disk brakes....after 74, they all were front steer and had disks

These days, the M11 may be the better idea....Back when I did mine, there were less options.

Most rodders around in my area have moved up to the later 80 or so Malibu front suspension. Newer and not as W I D E as the Nova clip. I have used a XJ6 Jaguar front suspension. It bolts out as a complete unit ... has rack and pinion and disc brakes ... all for cheap money.
