NSRA Louisville

Just got back from NSRA Street Rod Nationals in Louisville...4 days of near 100 degree heat, a good time was had by all. Here's some pics, ignore the date on some of these, I set the date wrong on the camera.

Yeah Steve, it was quite a show, I think it was better than last year. What was really entertaining was Sunday afternoon when the awards and prizes were handed out. We happened to be near the main entrance as the rods began to leave. The ones that got caught by the traffic light really put on a show when it changed, especially the 41 Willys pro street with the 6-71 blower sticking out the hood.

Steve, the runner on Freedom Hall was showing 103* on Friday and 102* on both Saturday and Sunday. Thursday we had a tolerable 95*
Despite the heat it was a great show.

Vince,
Was this the Willys you were talking about? It barely idled, with a severe blower roll...We were leaving at the same time and saw quite a show leaving the main gate!

No, that is not the one, but I saw it also. This Willys was yellow, had wheelie bars and was a hoss.

Vince,

Did you get your car a "safety certificate" or win any awards for the paint job?
