Nuts

I need to find 11/16-18 nuts for 35 ford headlight buckets. I can't seem to be able to find any. Does anyone know where I can find them.
Thanks

samm-I-am,

5/8-18 ?? If your thread is in fact 11/16-18 then you will need to have them machined.

Good Luck

They are an odd ball size, I have them for my car. I will ask around, see if anyone around here carries them. We have a dealer in Tulare that comes up with anything I've ever asked him. Also look at tractor supply places.

That nut is a pre metric Ford tie rod end lock nut. Speedway has them = p/n 175-6049-specify (RH/LH Thread) for $3.99/6pack. I even have their $30 tap back from the days when I built my long gone T-bucket.

(They also have them in chrome and SS for even more $$)
