OBD l/ll Scanner

What can anyone tell me about the Auto-Xray EZ-Scan 5 or 6000 Hand held scanner. We have a number of vehicles in our family, 91' Chev 2500 P/U 5.7ltr TBI, 91' Pont Firebird 4.3ltr TBI, 93' Astro Van LT 4.3TBI, 94' GMC Jimmy S15 4.3ltr Vortec CMFI, 89' Chev 5.0ltr TBI, 96' Dodge Dakota 4 cyl , 96' Ford Explorer just bought. We need something prefer on budget to monitor all vehicles. Anything would be greatly appreciated.

Thumbs up

i have an ezscan obdI for my wifes ford. i love it. it's awesome. ive not used the snapon or such, but, i like not paying $40 bucks anytime a light comes on. and its been right on so far, every time i've used it. it checks all circuits just like the hi $$$ scanners.
i'd like to upgrade to the ezscan 5k or 6k, but i don't have a car that would need it, and if i had one, everyone that knows me would be wanting me to look at their cars.

i'd get it. look on ebay too.

it's cool to be going down the road with it hooked up, the light comes on, you hit a button, and it automatically records all obd functions so you can play it back later to see wth is going on.

Smile OBD l/ll

Larry,

Thanks for your response about the EZScan OBD reader. I have yet to find anyone else that knew much about them let alone owned 1. I am not new to computers, just computers in cars. I have all the factory manuals but just never broke down & bought a scanner yet. Can still access some ABS & drive train info w/a paper clip Thanks again & have a great day.
