OddRodder's Rambler!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today I finally showed up at Odd's house while he was home (The second time I showed up today anyways) and he took me for a ride in his Rambler... Geez that thing freakin FLIES! We went for a small ride/cruise and then stopped in the middle of the road (That's when my smile started ) and he lit'm up and the car went sideways (That's the first time I've ever gone for an Oh-***** handle). That thing is wicked fast, I loved it and had a smile on my face for the rest of the day and still do .

I'm blushing!

Hey Sway! You like the rambler (Rumbler), pit dogs, and work as a mechanic??? Are you sure you aren't my kid?? What's your mamma's name, child?

Yeah Goose, I'm still waiting to see if Car Kulture Deluxe does a feature on it! (I send about 25 pics. and negatives in)

Larry (and my other brother Larry), You know what they say, "Smoke 'em if you got 'em!!!!!!!"

Never a dumb question! It's a 1962 Rambler Classic Custom! It has a ford top-loader 4 speed (close ratio) bolted to the lil' 327! With the close ratio box and the 3.73 posi, the car is a little long winded in 1st. We laid a solid 70' of snake black marks in first and were gettin' real squirrelly, I was about to pull second when I noticed the kid was tryin' to dive under the dash!

Disclaimer: This was done on a open stretch of old 66 hiway, clear view 1/4 mile in each direction, heck, we probably never got over 75 m.p.h.!! I in no way condone street racing or other acts of idiocy!! (although I am sure that some believe my actions were dangerous and stupid)

In my defense, lol, I was just trying to find something to hold onto, there isn't any handles so I was reaching for the door handle, lol. I would've dove under the dash if we did hit second though to tell the truth. I love that car and loved the ride even more. Thanks Odd!

P.S. - He won't take it to the track because it has street tires, you guys should talk some sense into him...

Oh yeah, plus like he said (OddRodder), we were in an almost enclosed area where there was about a 1:10000 chance that we would've been in harms way of someone else
