off center rear end

I,m building a 1937 chevy pickup. My donar car is a 1979 Olds 98 from which I'm utilizing the drivetrain. The rear end pinion shaft is 0.5 inches off center from the xmission tail shaft horizontilly.
Do any of you guys think this will cause a problem.

As a novice hotrodder I have no real experience in this area. The olds engine was mounted 0.5" off center in the donar car from the factory and of course the rearend is the same way. I'm wondering if vibration will be a problem.

I would appreceate any advice, Thank you very much.

It will cause no problems. Many cars are built with the engine/rear offset. Look at all the Fords since 56.
