How about a chrome hood center strip, anybody got one, I've been looking for one for a couple of years now.
Call I&I Reproduction for the center strip. They have them made when they get enough people on a list to justify it.

I have been on their list for a couple of years now, just talked to them in March and they had no date as to when (or if) they were going to make them.

They seem to not be worried about 37's anymore because they are out of stock on a lot of things for a 37. I wonder if it is just 37's or is it all of the years.

They are out of stock on a lot of '38 stuff as well. I tried to convince them that if they build the parts, we will come but they want a "guarantee" of selling a certain amount. I guess I can understand that but they aren't all that easy to deal with...

Got the bumpers on the car. In this pic of when I got it, you can just see the amber turn signals hidden under the frame.

I had the brackets powder coated a satin silver, similar to Argent and added brackets and signals where they can actually be seen.

Do you have to give them money to be on the list? How are they guaranteed if not?

OK, it's a guarantee because there is no deposit. You essentially "agree" to buy a part IF they decide to make it again. I imagine many people get something in the interem and move on. So, as I initially said, they should just make the parts and have them available.

WHAT ???? He can't take the whole summer off..............get to work on that car and drive it.......

I take mine to a muffler shop on Tuesday to extend the tail pipes. They end just behind the rear tires now ands it's loud and noxious to drive. They will be out just to the bumper...

Just got back from the muffler shop.......WOW what a huge difference the sound level is inside now. Almost too quiet...

Before:

After....

Couple shots of the interior since it's "almost" finished. I still need to fit the left sill plate. I don't like the carpet and may have a custom one made. The crap I bought off ebay is complete junk...

Looking good, The interior is shaping up nicely. Don't you hate ebay, things look and sound so much better than they usually are.
