The Word Union was shouted by many in the 1930"s when they arrived in the land of milk and honey. California was going to be the new start. But all most folks found were poor living conditions,long hard back braking days and wages that people could not even feed them selves on. Many died for the rights of others . Folk singer Woody Guthrie Gave up possible stardom to be the voice for the people. We must not forget history and the people how lived it. Unions were necessary... We are living in a time now that is troubling and hard on every one. Have we out grown the one thing that gave people a Hand Up ??
