offset 3-link

i have a 2003 ford lightning that is currently leaf-sprung in the rear that i want to convert to a three-link. i have "traction bars" that are 58" long that could be used for the lower control arms. i would just have to fabricate the upper link and assiociated mounting brackets/crossmember.

the truck sees many street miles with a fair amount of drag racing and a couple of open track events per year. currently it puts down about 470 hp and 590 ft. lbs. of torque, and i am about to start working on a turbo setup, shooting for around 700 hp, so it is no slouch.

how much should the upper be offset to the right? how is this calculated?

also to stay legal at ffw events, i was thinking of keeping the leafs (required) but putting them on sliders. i know it would not be ideal, but i have to stay within the rules
