Post oh ya by the way

i have vortech heads from a 92 camaro, on some of the valves they are caved in. can i use valves from another sbc head if there still good.

as I just said on your other post. if there 92 heads there not Vortecs, what are the casting numbers of your heads? post the casting numbers so we can tell you what kind of heads you have because the heads play a big role in power output.

were are the casting #'S i looked on the top were the valve cover would go, in between the rocker arms, is that it

Your heads check to-- 1986 to 1991 305" engine with 1.84" intake valves and 1.50" exhaust this is not a performance casting.

how can i beef them up a little, and should i try to find some vortech 202s

Junk those heads! Get some Dart Iron Eagles, they are inexpensive and good.

It's really just according to what kind of H.P. you want to build. But, if these heads are going to need work anyway, I would just go look for a set of vortecs. The vortec heads have 1.94 valves from the factory but they flow better than most of the older castings with 2.02's
