I have a problem; I think it's called "Oil canning." The metal beneath my rear window is flexing very easily. I can push the metal down with one finger and it stays down, I can then pop it back out with 1 finger, almost no pressure applied. How do I fix this? I was thinking that I have to shrink the metal to tighten it up then hit it out to the desired level. Let me know if I am on the right track.

Yes this can be be done if its not past the point of no return and you are ready to do some paint work frist you need to grind where the bad spot is with a 40 grit disk then use a torch and heat the panal then cool it with a cool wet rag after you get it close then you can use body filler to finsh it up
