oil filter relocation-how about an oberg

has any body got an opinion on oberg screen type remote filters?
i think i still have one from a toyota mud bog project
and the relocation thread got me thinking about it.
i was not sure if i was going to use it(if i can find all the pieces)
i was hoping some input could help me make up my mind

As a secondary filter, they are great. Like in a dry sump as the pre filter to the tank, but i dont think i would run one by itself as the primary filter.
You pretty much need a paper style filter for the very small particulates like the microscopic "glitter" you see in oil from time to time.. but, its better than nothing

I would use a regular oil filter first then let the oberg finish the filtering. They do make several filter sizes.
