I had this same problem once.The problem was the holes were too close together to screw in 2 90's.I had someone make me up 2 stainless steel 3/8 pieces about 7 ins. long.They bent a 90 on them.One end had a fitting to screw on the block adapter the other end had a fitting for the hose to screw on.Maybe you could find a hydrulic hose shop in your area that could come up with something like this.
