Like the title says. My Silverado is leaking oil from the oil pan drain plug bolt. Its got a thick white plastic gasket on the bolt and it still leaks oil. I'm getting sick of seeing oil stains and puddles on my garage floor.
Are you sure it's the plug? That plug is the low spot on the engine and any oil leak can possibly end up there. Look at the sides of the oil pan including the front and back for drool marks. If you are satisfied that you have no other leaks, that plug Poncho shows - identical design as what my last FORD gas powered truck had in the pan and it never leaked.
Those white nylon washers are junk. Easy to overtighten and leak. Get rid of that, and go to a better bolt, or bolt/washer combo.
