Oil Pan Gasket Question.

I have a gasket set for a TBI 350 laying around and i was wondering if i can use my Fel-Pro One Piece oil pan gasket intended for a one piece rear main seal TBI 350 on a 1980 Two-Piece rear main seal 350.

I looked at the oil pans, and they look identical. down to the baffle inside.

Thoughts?

Far as I recall it`ll bolt right on as there really was no change to the oil pan or the seal when chevy converted over to 1 piece seal cranks.

The rear of the oil pan changed considerably,
larger radius, for the one piece seal.

Two piece rear.

One piece.

The one piece seal will not fit a two.

55 to 79

80 to 85

then 86-up

chevy changed alot of things and ppl dont think so but they did,

oil sticks had several locations, lengths, and designs, oil pans changed, intakes and heads changed, oil filter types changed, and so on

crankshaft flexplate and flywheel mounting changed, in 86 also as did the rear main cap design due to the new RMS design
