Oil pan for SBC in 57 Chevy
I have a 1957 Chevy that I am building a vortec-based roller block 383 for. Can anyone tell me what oil pan will fit this one-piece rear main seal block and factory manual steering chassis? Moroso says only their 20212 pan will fit but if you look at it, it has a crazy bottom that seems to fit around the centerlink of the steering. Looks as if it is hard to drop the engine in with this pan the way its shaped w/o removing the centerlink. Just wondering if anyone has stumbled upon this dilemma? Thanks.
