Oil Pick up tube

Very simple basic question and I can't find the answer. Does the oil pick up tube on a 5.0 ford engine require a lock washer to mount it to the main bearing cap? The engine I got was in pieces and I can figure most of it out. Thanks for the help!!

Intrik, Thank you for the info. There was a baggie with two bolts and a nut that are the right size and thread pattern but the nut was tight like it had been crimped. I am using locktite with it. Thank you for the info

Just a personal observation from years of wrenching.....

Lockwashers have no place on a car or motor....Period.
