Oil Pressure & Distributor.

I have a built 351C in which I was running a Davis Unified Distributor. A special note was given for Ford engines. It stated not to run over 65 psi oil pressure and to drill a .030 hole in the lifter galley plug behind the distributor. What effect does this much oil pressure have on this distributor, gear or the cam?
Thanx,
Everett.

351C has "oiling issues".....that's why the special note

goooogle will find you a "how to improve the Cleveland 351 oiling system and why"

article might be in the knowledge base link above

email to DUI and ask why 65lbs and a hole?
