I swapped the 1.5 out of a 92 Civic with a 1.6 from a 98 civic. Start to finish it took me and another guy 5 hours before we driving the car around. It's really easy, and we got the 1.6 with 46,000 miles for $500 at a junk yard, the yard even pulled the motor for us.

My honda has 275,000 on it and it's never been taken apart for work. I beat the crap out of that car and I've run 10w30 in it a few times. It didn't cause me any problems.

I have a local yard who has quoted me $650 for as replacement low mileage motor. I may mess with or...I may not. Just depends on what else I have going on.

I'd be happy to provide any of you a nice project car...cheap...any offers? The rest of the car is in really good shape.
