oil and spark?
i'm installing a mild 396 into my chevelle and the car is wired for an HEI that the old engine had. the new engine came with a new accel billetproof dist and coil which should i use? how do i wire the accel dist in?
Ok second question when i prelubed the 396 it has an oil leak around the filter adapter i know the adapter is tight the filter is tight . any clues? it got to dark and cold for me to investigate so i'm asking you guys...
I have never used an accel unit before. If you are only driving the car use your HEI. It is all ready set up for it right. Check to see if the gasket is in place or damaged. you may need a new gasket and a little Aviation Form-A-gasket.
