IT HAS BEEN COMPLETELY MODIFIED FROM THE ORIGINAL.....DONT BE MAD AT ME I DIDNT BUILD THIS UGLY THING MY FATHER BOUGHT IT A LONG TIME AGO...SOME GUY IN THE LATE 70'S PUT IT TOGETHER AND IT HAS BEEN THAT WAY EVER SENSE.. ITS KINDA NEAT BUT TRUST ME ITS UGLY!!!! 1 MORE HINT IF IT WAS BACK TO THE ORIGINAL BODY STYLE IT WOULD BE WORTH BIG BUCKS. SO GO AHEAD AND GUESS YOUR BEST AND ILL TELL YOU WHAT THE YEAR, MAKE, AND MODEL IT WAS WHEN IT WAS NEW.. I WOULD POST A LARGER PIC OF THE CAR HERE BUT I JUST HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO FIGURE THAT OUT YET. I can't get the photos to enlarge for me but my guess is that It started out as 58 Chev or Pontiac convertable.
The funny thing is that that car probably won a trunk full of trophies in it's heyday. It is probably a midwest or east coast show car from the early 60's

WELL IM NOT GOING TO SAY YET WHAT KIND OF CAR IT IS, I WANT TO HEAR WHAT EVERYONE ELSE THINKS IT IS FIRST,, YOUR RIGHT THOUGH ABOUT 15 YEARS AGO IT WON ALOT OF TROPHIES, 4 TIME BEST OF SHOW WINNER... Looks like a modified Caddy with a '58 Chevy front, or a modified '58 Chevy with a Caddy rear. BTW..what else is sitting in the junkyard?

WELL I GOT ALL KINDS OF GOOD JUNK IN MY JUNKYARD GO CHECK OUT SOME OF MY CARS IN THE PROJECT JOURNALS... GOT A FEW 57'S CHEVY'S A FEW 55 CHEVY'S SOME 2 DOOR SOME 4-DOOR.. THE UNKNOWN DROP TOP IN THE PIC ABOVE IS THE ONLY CAR IN MY YARD THAT ISN'T MINE... YOU GUYS SHOULD BRING A FEW BOXES AND SHOVELS AND BUY SOME OF THESE CARS AND GET THEM OFF MY LOT

Can any body tell me how to contact a member to give tips/send pics.
I want to send some pics to Neophyte in South Africa about his GMC to help him with engine set up/ steering clearance. I have the same project going.
I am a newby to this and technologicaly challenged.

Click on his name Icon on any post from him, you'll get a dropdown menu..

TRY Send So and So an Email..If you get a screen that Say's The member has requested not to receive Email, Then Back it up and on the same drop down menu, click on Send So and So a Private Message, Send him your request for his email, and send him yours..

That simple..

Looks like a mutilated '57 Chevy Bel Air convert with some '59 or so Lincoln parts hacked on to it to me. The windhield, top and the top of the 1/4 panel just behind the door tell me it's a '57 and that's definitely a Lincoln front bumper but I'm not 100% on the year.
