old block, new heads and intake

i have an 80's target master 350 block with a very big cam in it, i was wondering if it is possible to put heads and intake off a '95 350, its going in a '87 c-10 shortbox thats already been converted to f.i. Does anyone know if this is possible?

The heads and intake will interchange. Is the injection a stock unit with a stock computer? if so it won`t work with a big cam. You`ll have to use a computer compatible cam or have it programmed for the cam.

You can do the swap, but be warned. In factory form, the 95's TBI heads are really low-flow... as in, probably the worst-flowing factory chevy V8 head ever. They can be ported and made to perform, but in stock trim they really suck big time. They would be an absolute terrible match for a big cam. The cam might not start making decent power until 3000 rpms, and those heads run out of breath at 4000.
