Moving those old cars now would be like removing the bodies from the Titanic. Leave em to rest. RIP. HG

That place is a damned gold mine! At least it would be if I owned it.
I dont understand people that will not sell cars like this to people who want to restore and preserve them. Who knows... chris |

I could almost guarantee that those cars aren't in as bad as what you think.
Moisture creates surface rust...road salt creates holes. Those cars probably haven't seen much salt in their lifetime. I'd take what ever he would let go... Later, WEIMER |

OK, if you can be cruel to animals why not cars?? We form a National Society, go to court and seize the lot. We'll need trucks, trailors, chain saws, tractors, maybe a log skid loader. Too late in the year now, but come spring we rock. I get the panel truck and I know HK has dibs on the Buick. We'll haul them all to my place and park them in the woods.

If you guys go I want the Sharknose Graham on page one. It shows up again on page 4. They aren't that bad body wise but the motors are all probably frozen. Its got my mouth watering. Couple of nice Studebakers too.

send me the local I need to go shopping.I am already sick that my dad gave ten old 30's 40's and 2 50's away that I had plans for.Oh an one 409 bubble top.He told me they was just wasting space.Gave em away about a year before I moved back here.
I also had a guy about 2 blocks from me in El paso that had every style of GM from the 50's in his back yard no rust at all would not even let you buy a part let alone the whole car.he was in his 90's then and he said it is in his will that the cars could not be moved for 40 years after his death that sucks. but some people have only the past to hang on too. |
