Looking for others with old cars[40-50]that drive on the street and ocationaly go to the strip.
I have a 1950 chev coupe tubed,full cage, big block chev
Have two motors built,one for street,468cu in
some head work,have not run this motor yet.
The other motor started out 427,it is a 433 now roller flat tappet lots of head work motor was dynoed prior to its being freshend this summer.
I had this motor in 1972 vega and went 9.20 at 147mph
Having not had the 50 chev out yet I cant wait to see if I can get it in the 10.0sec range.
would like to hear from some others with same interest.
