Old cars -New friend

While looking for a motor on craigslist I made a new friend. Although I did not buy the motor ,it was like visiting a museum.
Finished 35 coupe, stock 52, 35 rolling, 38 running and available, all Fords, and the crem de crem, a 49 Lincoln running with a 390 in it stock. And happy to show them.
Find out we have mutual friends.

Can't say enough about networking. Motorheads are out there

all and more

Its somethin that makes for being a life time rodder.I dont get around like I did awhile back but I ran into alot of guys and caches of hidden cars. One comes to mind when I went to a boat shop and was driving my full fendered A bone. When the guy said let me show you something. He unlocked the door and I allmost fell over. There sat a 38 cad,big block,50 ford 2 dr.49 cad,64 stang and a few I cant recall. This dude also had a junkyard in the back,a 283 in a 48 pickup, stuff like that ,What a delight it was to meet this southern gentleman from the really old school.I cherish these acts of sharing more than I can ever express in words.
