I ve owned this 67 cougar for a number of years totally disassembled it 2 times and painted it 4 times now she is down to bare steel again with a lot of new steel in her I just took her off the rotisserie with all new suspension and upgraded braking system to disc. The rearend is a 8" but had a poise installed during the rebuild changing the automatic Tran to a 4 speed top loader from 68 mustang with a Hurst shifter with reverse lockout and my 289 has had a rebuild with some extra parts installed should be around 300 hp next step reinstalling the new wiring this should be interesting. Something ford didn t do in the 67&68 cats were install shaker hoods has anyone done this any ideas Larry
