old coats 10 10 dump valve?

ok we have an old coats 10 10 tire changer machine

it always works great but recently the dump valve flew out of the pedal air release assembly and we cant find it anywhere. where can we find another one??

and how does it work?

why does it need a valve if you release it by depressing the release pedal?

i dont understand?

yet it doesnt hold pressure at all with the valve missing

im confused by this..

the valve threads into the pedal release assembly, pipe threads

a short threaded nipple fitting, and a 90 degree elbow, and then the little valve on the other side of the 90.

adobe diagrams here:

10 10 pro racer

part 104 quick dump valve

can i use some kind of other valve ?

of some kind?

thanks for anything

Just Google Coats Tire Equipment ,several pages come up...........find your model # and you should be able to find what you need.
Good Luck
