old intake question

Ive heard all the stories but i have a torker and a torker2. they fit my cam combo and the hood clearance problem on my nova but are they worth it and if they are which one is better. plus it will add to the nastalgia btw i have a 360 with worked double humps 462 my cam comes in at 3000 with a 750 vac seconday holley

Ive used the torker,its good,I prefer the tarantula and scorpion.The torker I would use on a smaller engine.If you are using a mild hydraulic cam,I doubt you will lose any top end over most intakes,or a small amount.
never tried a torker II

X2 I used a Torker manifold with a 750VS Holley on my Chevelle when I had my 307 bored to 311 and change to 2.02 heads. It run fine, just a little sluggish at low end until it reach 3000 RPM then it flew. Adding 410 gears help a lot, too.

torker II with a open carb spacer blended into the top.
