Well, it's official. We have snow. Got about an inch of the white stuff yesterday and more predicted for the rest of the week. Temps aren't too bad, and of course, the kids are thrilled because this means that Santa is coming soon.

Oh well, guess I'll have to change my avatar as soon as the kids get their snowman built.

They are predicting snow here tomorrow south of Chicago. It's supposed to be measurable but the ground hasn't frozen yet, so it will most likely melt right away.

I know that there was a couple of "Collector Car" sales places up there. Never heard of that company though.
There is a place in Bolton called "Hammersteel" that makes custom body parts from steel. May be related.

I will look in my "Old Autos" paper and see if II can find it.

Bolton is about an hour from me.

it's rained here every day for a week. for over the better part of the day, every day. been under a flood warning for most of that too. If it was frozen here, we'd be missing work and skool for sure. I hope it freezes long enough to kill off some mosquitoes here. that's all the cold we need.

It is weird here,still warm,just came in from the front porch,in a T-shirt and pajama pants.The weather forecaster said that winter will come tomorrow,supposed to drop two or three flurries on Thanksgiving.If this keeps up,the age old tradition of "bumper-riding"will not happen this year!

Its mid 60's today, sun is out and Im wearing shorts ...no rain in site. The "winter" rain storm was last week finally forced my to replace the original wipers on my 96 Civic, that means my wife has 2 years left on the wipers on her 98 Tacoma... I was planning on going to the beach friday I'll make a "sand man" for you east coasters...

Well, it's official

Yes it is winter. We had frost on the ground yesterday til about 8 a.m. Then a high of 64..brrrr, had to wear a long sleeve shirt til about 10 a.m. (check avatar saying, will have to change). Dan

It doesn't snow here to much, if it does it doesn't stay for more than a day. I hope it snows here real good this year, it makes it really fun in a big empty parking lot and your foot on the gas. hehehe

This is my first winter driving too, never really had to before. We have had snow off and on for the last month, up to 5 inches then it rains, snowed an inch tonight but its supposed to stay now.

So far I have only had to wipe the dew off my windshield once, first thing in the morning.

It was in the high 50s all day today.

Came back from bandpractice at my church and wow it's hard to drive. Not really hard but you gotta drive way slower and you learn soon that your car will slide into an intersection and not stop where it's supposed to had some fun on the huge church parking lot though, now I understand them drifters
