old painter new rodder
Hey I recently inherited my dad's 53 chevy 3100. I am in the tear down stage right now. It is all original and with lots of rust. I have been a paint and body guy for 30 years but have limited mech experience. My plans are a new suspension all around with disk brakes and chevy v6 or sbc v8 I am on a limited budget due to being a single dad with 3 boys still at home. I am planning on driving this truck everyday so I am looking for mileage and comfort. I love to look at and read the projects here and have all ready found some great ideas for my ride here. I am looking forward to seeing and reading more from all of you and will be posting some pics of my project in th near future. Thanks for the welcome and all the advice will be appreciated, J
