Old Rods and Vendors

I have a '78 Corvette and the aftermarket for Corvettes is absolutely great. If you need it, you can get it. But, say I was to get a '38 Chevy. Where do you order parts and accessories from for the '38? How does that work?

Go to Hemmings Motor News or one of the many classic chevy sites.

It depends on what you are going to do to the 38 Chevy, if you were to restore it then Hemmings would be a very good start, if you are going to street rod one then Hemmings would also be a good place to start as would magazines such as Street Rodder, Rod and Custom, Street Rod Builder. I would also join a local group that specializes in the type of car that you want (restored of street rod) and get to know as many of the locals as possible. If you just want to find something on the net just go to Goggle and search for 1938 Chevy or Chevrolet.
