old rusty front seats for models, help plz
i am making a diorama for a car contest, i want to how it would be easyest to make springs out of plastic or metal and glue them to the seat, i saw this once and he won about 4 awards for one car, i was really amazed at that kind of concentration. it was really amazing!!!

i would try springs out of a ball-point pen or you can get spring assortments from an auto shop.

by the way, on the diarama, i always thought it would be cool to do one of a drive-in movie scene. And then on the big screen you could a have scene from Bullitt or American Graffiti or something on there.

p.s. don't forget the popcorn!

While in the process of doing this stuff, remember what you are looking for. In this case, a small spring. Just thik small. There is doll house stuff you can use.(Newspapers, books, lunch boxes, pets) Black sandpaper looks like black top. Use real sand and small stones for boulders. Pick through the trash and look at the shapes. Heat a nail or pin for "metal punctures"
Be outrageous, it's free
