That is all it takes! Anyone with a MIG could do that VERY easily. My brother and his friend made this one in the metal shop class in high school.
We named it the "Martin-Duarte Tarantula Tunnel Tube". Wish I had it today, I may just be able to track it down if it still exists, I would LOVE to have it hanging on the wall in my garage!
My brother built one in the early 60's for the hemi in his 36 lakes coupe and ran carter WCD 2 barrels, they flow about 1 3/4 a much as 97's and DON'T leak . When I was teaching the machine shop classes I milled new intake port holes in the combo intake manifold -head of my corvair dune buggy manifold, then built a spider leg manifold and ran a 500 2 bbl holly.
If you ever find one of the 50's little car magazines you will find adds to buy add on intake pieces to add more carbs to your stock factory one.
