Post olds rearend question

I'm restoring a 1931 ford coupe with I'm told is a early olds rearend. About 1968/1969. Can I indetify the rear from the center section serial numbers and if I can where can I look to get replacement parts for the brakes and wheel cylinders? Any help would be appreciated. John

If it is a nostalgia rod, built in the 60s or 70s it might have a '57 - '64 rear end. These were the desireable units for Gasser drag classes. Is it a Hotchkiss (removeable pumpkin) or Dana (gear carrier ntegral with axle tubes, removeable sheet metal back plate)? Former is likely the earlier vintage.
