Olds roller rocker qeustion

hey guys, new here.
background info:
i have a 82 Buick century with the Olds 4.3 v6 diesel. i converted the rocker arms over to a set of Harland Sharp rollers. this diesel uses the stock roller cam, and Olds 307 style roller lifters.

the problem:
im not getting oil flow to the to the rockers. im using a set of oiling trick flow hardened push rods, and the fit both the lifter and the rocker cups great. the lifters are oiling ( i have the manifold and covers off right now) and oil is coming out of the top if the lifter. so everything below the push rods seems to be working right.

my question is can i drill a hole in the oil control plate in the lifter. (the one that controls oil flow to the push rod and rocker) to gain more flow? if i remove this plate the rocker oil fantastic. but i don't want to do all 12 of them and find out i have no oil pressure. i did start the motor and i had 60psi at idle (750) using a mechanical gauge, 80 psi when revved to 2500 (red line is 3700).

has anyone had problems like this before on a motor?

.020 over bore
total seal rings
arp rod bolts (BB Chrysler)
Full balance job (rods, pistons, crank)

Oil can only flow up the pushrod when the hole in the rocker and the hole in the pushrod are lined up.
Maybe the pushrods are too long?

Sorry, I don't have anything useful to add to your post, but all I can say is WOW! This is very cool in a perverse sort of way. Talk about dare to be different - and you're using a manual trans! I've been a Olds guy for decades and this is only the third V6 diesel that I've ever seen. What are you putting it into?
