I agree with barry, that is quite a difference in mix ratios. You want the measurement somewhat close. i've already mixed omni 4 to 1 by mistake, so use to a lot of urethane primers being 4 to 1, but I don't think I would feel comfortable myself with that much extra catalyst. Guys at work must never measure out the dang primer, always end up having a lot of primer left and no hardener when you are trying to get something in primer before going home. I've beotched about it a couple times. Wouldn't extra hardener be more prone to chipping and becoming brittle, At least thats what happens to fiberglass resin if you mix it too hot. You can call ppg, but I can imagine what their reply would be. More product sold, don't want to be responsible saying you could let it slide and have people complaining later cause of problems and they said it was okay.
