The parts I want to make are the water outlets off the flathead motor, which point to the radiator.
Haven't had to do it in a while but we used that bending method in the Navy. found a nice pipe the right size and bent the pipe around it. Used some wood "corks and cloth to seal the ends. Worked well with a little heat. Not too much or you will crush the pipe.
For cold bending we used ice.
