OOo... I hate chevy people!

You know... It really bites my *** when chevy people spout off about things they know nothing about. I just chewed this dude out(as nicely as possible)
http://www.newcovenant.com/speedcraf...ds/default.asp
for posting incorrect info. The guy claims the small runner chevy SB heads heads flow as much air as most other car makers' performance heads..... I just sent him an e-mail of some numbers comparing olds heads to chevy heads and offered a list of all the inferior chevy parts that come in stock form"compared" to other car makers.... He's not going to be too happy

I REALLY hate it when people do that crap, I know its his website and all, but lies are lies.

Did you send him links to anything with actual facts? Or did you just send him #'s that are put into your own words?
More than likely he will just do what most people do....Hit the DELETE key.

Chevy people? Ummmm, I think you're gonna have that with ANY group of brand loyalists. Ford people butt heads often, as well as the Mopar people, and hell, every other group. I get irritated at times, but why go through all the crap of contradicting everything somebody said? Ignorance is mildly amusing.

can't we all just get along?

Hell no we can't! Thats what brand loyalty is all about. I just can't seem to stick to only one brand?? Do just DRIVE one brand at a time though!! You know what they say about variety don't ya??

Yeah! I hate them chevy people too. That's why I have chevy running gear in my DeSoto. If you can't fool some of the people some of the time. Fool them all of the people all of the time. ...er something like that.

According to some of the people in my family(mainly my mother's side) it goes like this:
If you can't screw your family, who can you screw?.

38... if you are needing any help....give me a call.
I am supposed to show a guy how to setup the motor in an S10 later this weekend...but he is the type of person that doesn't want to help himself, so I don't know if I will or not. He has No knowledge, no ambition, and no tools....but he wants to build a hotrod

Later,
WEIMER

Ahahahhaaaaha! Good one, Weimer. Good luck with helping the guy with the S-10. I tend to let it drop with people like that. Either you want to get the job done or you don't. Me I'm a do-er! (I just have to figure out how.) So I pick brains, read, watch and learn how.) Have a great weekend. The Harley show is this weekend in Lima and the Corvette show at Bud's Chevy in St, Mary's then after that I'm pushing the 38 out into the sunligh and stripping some paint. It's gonna be a good day! (if I need you I'll be sure to give you and Kev a shout). Oh yeah. Have to mow the yard too, but I'll sneak that in later.

And now that Oldsmobile is a has been brand....

Will these certain brand loyal individuals end up living in the past-
for the rest of their lives?

I have gone from Chevy only to General Motors preferrably.

OF COURSE!
Studebaker people can tell you. Willys club members will tell you.
Duesenbergs, Cords, DeSotos, Kaiser, etc owners will tell you.

Brand loyalty is just that, it has nothing whatsoever to do with current model year offerings?
