Ooops!

Ooops! This is what happens when you spin a Cat I-6 3k+ rpms. Inexperienced driver coming down Vail pass west bound... The boss is really happy, 28k on the motor, and $20k and climbing to fix it. Oh well, it's only $$$.

Ouch, I use to live in Colorado Springs Never saw that happen, more brakes going out then anything else.
Vail Pass remember it well first time from California hit a snow storm trucks were everywhere. But had the old 78 Dodge power wagon 4x4 came down in a white out on my first trip with the wife.
I did make the trip one other time in the middle of summer but keep having the fuel pump vapor lock on me.

After that I ran the southern pass down I-25 to I-40

hahaha, I was just wonder if they sell JB weld in the Mechanic Size tube.

I had this guy that crack the side of a press brake at the feed 20 ton. Had a new guy set it to deep in the stroke so when it hit the die bang.
It took me two days to weld it up. Three four week later crack the other side

Heck I could repair that hole it just a little one. lol

You're looking at the passenger side of a Caterpillar truck motor. The black part is the oil pan. To the right is the front of the truck. This is what happens when you overspeed a truck motor and throw a rod. I came out of th block right behind where the spin-on oil filter used to live.
