They are different intakes, but they are interchangable. I would use the ones that most closely match the ports on the head (just measure width and height) and the one that is the tallest. That would theoretically flow more and be a better match for the 5.7. Since they're both factory castings, they'll both be mild-flowing intakes, and unless you've souped up the rest of the engine, either one should be fine.

I never thought to compare the height or port sizes.
The motor isnt hopped up at all at this point. Maybe a mild cam later. If I change the intake later, it will be with a pair of vortec heads anyway. Thanks |

I should add...
The throttle bodies are the same, but the injectors are different between 5.0 and 5.7. Make sure you have the right injectors. |
