opening conecting rods to use Small jouornal rods with a large crank

I was just wundering if its possible to open the OD on the big end of an aluminum conecting rod. A guy has some for sale but thier for a 2.0 journal, can they be opened to a 2.1 or could you turn the crank down that far???

Don't attempt to bore the rods out. Besides weakening the rod, the time, effort and cost of machine work would exceed the price of purchase of new rods. Sell them on Ebay and get a new set of rods with the correct journal size. You can turn down the crank, but again, Cost and Time.
