a question i have about it tho what would be a good charging setup cause other then the motor its also gonna be running a big system. I was reading the other day in lowrider about a dual battery setup but my problems with that are weight on the front and what kinda springs i would need to run? what do you think would be best?

Forget the "big system" and throw all of that money at makin the car hook and run...

I would still upgrade the alternator. A 100 amp unit should do fine as long as you don't overload it. The motor doesn't care as long as it supplies enough juice for the ignition, electric fan, electric fuel pump, and other accessories and to keep the battery charged.

Not sure as to specific information yet.i havent really thought that much into it yet.itll most likely be stock for the most part with the addition of some edelbrock peices and a comp cam..im not looking forit to be downright insane seeing that it will be driven as a daily after im finished with it...as for the exaust hooker headers of some sort and all that running into summits glasspack sidepipes. im also gonna add an air gap intake along with an edelbrock four barrel with manuel choke. im thinking a 650.in my mind a 454 aint gonna need to much to smoke the tires on a light car like my camaro.Thats the best i can do for right now
