opinions about a brand

Hey Guys!
Happy Easter!

as i told, it's not so easy to find in Italy, good tools for american cars.
but MAYBE i find an italian website with correct prices and with good american brands.

what do you think about Great Neck american tools?
is it a good brand?
are they resistant tools?!

thanks guys!

Great Neck tools are a good "middle range" brand. They generally hold up well. I have several. The brand name is American, but like many tools today I believe they are made in Taiwan or India. Only a few are actually made in the US now -- the higher priced Craftsman (half or more of those are made in Taiwan/China/India now!) and all Snap-On and MAC tools... a couple others. Very fine quality, but also expensive. For hobbyists Great Neck is as good a choice as any. If I were a professional mechanic using the tools many times daily, I might go for one of the more expensive brands.
