Those came out after the thrush side pipes. There was also a
round thrush muffler that was loud and purple hornies mufflers. Ill see if i can find a pic of the side pipes. Cant seem to find a good pic of them. Last edited by sway; 06-24-2004 at 09:41 PM. |

These are the type of sidepipes I'm looking for. These are on a 69 Baldwin Motion Phase 3 Camaro. I want to put those bad boys on my chevelle.
If anybody knows where to get those let me know. I've been searching the internet for awhile now and haven't found anything. Todd |

My Mustang came with custom bent side pipes. No muffs. On a 6, it wasn't really that bad. But it sure got loud when there was a car next to me to bounce the sound off of.
If you can weld, just get some 90 bends and make your own. MoocH |

Sidepipes sound quite well. If you do put side pipes on please please please hook them up. I see so many cars at car shows that have them but they are not hooked up. Oh and get the ones with the caps so you have control if they are on or not.

Check out my Gremmie pics. Im going with duals for future flame throwing ability. Anyone interested in mine let me know. They just need some light sanding from the 3 year seting. HG

just don't do what I last saw, this guy hard mounted them without a piece of flexible pipe and then wondered why the connecting pipe broke in two after two months and 4 hard launches!
now I don't know nothing about these things but its seems logical that you need some way to isolate them from the engine moving no? |

hey guys thanks for the opinions, tazz and todd the patriot 70 inch headders are the ones i think i want to go with. they look like the ones that you guys are talking about. and i would't ever go through all this if i wasn't going to hook them up

It just got too busy under the rear of my '36 Chevy so I purchased a coupla flared out stainless steel extentions, beat them into the shape I wanted and installed them on the back of my running boards.
