Question oppinions on cast pistons

Hellllloooooo.
What do you guys(N gals) think about cast pistons? That kit from Northern looks good, but should you buy forged? I have had cast and drove the tihs out of it, but was that a fluke or are they ok for the street? I think Im gonna build a normal 4 barrell sbc, but later buy a old hilborn 8 port injector system and ship it out to have it rebuilt for fuel injection, so its streetable. I think 8 big pipes sticking out of the hood will look cool. My Gremlin all tubbed out, just needs something poking out of the hood. HG

Great for a general use street engine. If you are going rev the snot out of it and race, I would say get the forged.

Depends on what you are going to cast them as. What kind of movie is it? Flat tops will work for a Dick Tract sequel, and use could use domes for a remake of Eraser Head, but other than that, I am not real....

Sorry. My bad.

Can you hear me now?

As long as you aren't gonna shoot nitrous or rev them to 9000 rpm, you could get some hypereutectic cast pistons and they would be just fine.
