Any ideas about how to clean a stock 37 gas tank? I have a great, rust free, no dents, gas tank. I have heard of taking them and having them "boiled out" but honestly never had one to date that was nice enough to save. Any ideas?
If you can find a " old school " radiator shop ... they usually will boil one out. I try to steam clean or pressure wash the ones I am going to take so that the gasoline smell is not over powering. My radiator guy changes 40 dollars. He did three 1932 tanks for me the other week.
